Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Candice McKinney, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia and the founder of Beyond Counseling, Inc., which I opened in 2019 in Reston, VA. I’m here to support adults on their mental health journeys, and nothing means more to me than helping people find balance, resilience, and peace.

Originally from Arkansas, I made my way to Virginia back in 2008. Family is everything to me—I’m a proud middle child with two sisters, and we’re all super close. Outside of work, you’ll probably find me singing along to just about anything, working out, diving into a good book, or catching a new movie.
